Welcome to Northeastern University—Toronto!

We hope you find this initial information helpful as you prepare to embark on graduate studies at Northeastern. If you have any questions that are not addressed in what follows, please contact toronto@northeastern.ca.

New Student Orientation

As a Northeastern University (NU) student at our Toronto campus, we want you to get off to the right start! To help, we have virtual and on-campus events planned to connect you with peers, faculty, and staff.

These events are an important part of the NU experience and will help you to discover campus resources and information to set you up for success. We can’t wait to meet the next group of Huskies from all over the world!

Before you start

  1. Complete your New Student Orientation Course: Check your Northeastern email and accept the invitation to enroll in this important virtual course on Northeastern’s learning platform Canvas. Please review and complete the quizzes prior to your first day of class.
  2. Request your Husky Card: This is your student ID card and gives you access to campus. If you have not already done so, please submit the request now. You will receive your Husky Card when you pick up your orientation kit or we will notify you when it is available.
  3. Campus FAQ: Please check our Toronto Campus FAQs frequently as this is where you will find the most up-to-date information on campus access requirements, vaccinations and procedures.

Please visit the Important Information section for the following: Academic advising, Activate your myNortheastern Account, Log-in to your myNortheastern email, and set-up your Health Insurance.
