We hope you find this initial information helpful as you prepare to embark on graduate studies at Northeastern.

New Student Orientation

As a Northeastern University student at our Toronto campus, we want you to get off to the right start! To help, we have virtual and on-campus events planned to connect you with peers, faculty, and staff.

These events are an important part of the experience and will help you to discover campus resources and information to set you up for success. We can’t wait to meet the next group of Huskies from all over the world!

Before you start

  1. Complete your New Student Orientation Course: Check your Northeastern email and accept the invitation to enroll in this important virtual course on Northeastern’s learning platform Canvas. Please review and complete the modules and quizzes prior to your first day of class.
  2. Request your Husky Card: This is your student ID card and gives you access to campus. If you have not already done so, please submit the request now. You will receive your Husky Card when you pick up your orientation kit or we will notify you when it is available.
