Toronto Peer Mentorship Program
The NU Toronto Peer Mentorship Program supports Northeastern’s commitment to improving student experiential learning and engagement by building a mentorship community, creating opportunities to enrich current students’ co-curricular experiences, and fostering academic and personal excellence.

Mentorship Creates Change
The NU Toronto Peer Mentorship Program is designed to support incoming graduate students (mentees) to ensure a smooth transition into graduate life. Senior graduate students (mentors) will serve as role models and support mentees by sharing their experiences and perspectives of successful graduate life in Canada. Mentors will make referrals to campus resources and services as needed to foster the academic and personal success of mentees.
The Mission
Increase graduate students’ awareness of the services and resources available to them
Encourage graduate students to utilize the academic, professional, and personal supports on campus
Foster a sense of community among graduate students through group mentoring sessions, peer support, and social events
Provide an opportunity for graduate students to get involved and develop their communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
